“A Fortune Cookie”

I never thought I’d get anything of real value out of a fortune cookie.
Oh, of course, I get some interesting sayings once in a while, and a few of them are actually good advice.

But I got one that said this: “You know God is with you. So listen to what you know instead of what you fear.”
I wouldn’t expect that at the end of Chinese take-out, but that’s basically what Jesus told his followers in John 14:1-2.

“Trust me,” He said it. So, I think I will.
